Your written quote is built from your roof and a year of your NV Energy bills, so its numbers replace these. Prefer to talk? Call (725) 248-0578.
How this estimate works
We work out your yearly use from your bill on NV Energy's standard residential plan, then size the system to cover about 100% of it, the same starting point we use for every proposal. Panels come in pairs, so the size rounds up to the next pair.
A year of Las Vegas sun makes about 1,650 kWh for each kW of panels on a typical roof. NREL's PVWatts puts a south facing roof near 1,741 and an east or west facing roof near 1,478 to 1,509.
Every solar price we write includes a Tesla Powerwall: one with 12 to 49 panels, two from 50 panels.
What it cannot see
Shade, the pitch and direction of each roof plane, the clear paths the fire code keeps open, and when in the day your house uses power. That is why the written quote is drawn from your roof.
Your bill also depends on when you use power, not only how much, and on how net metering credits what you send back. So this page gives the estimate in kWh and does not turn it into dollars.
Actual utility rates may go up or down and actual savings may vary. This is an estimate from figures you entered, not a quote, and nothing here is a promise about your bill.
